Overview

AudaCity is a real-world asset (RWA) protocol that enables fractional ownership of income-generating commercial trucks. The protocol connects investor capital to active logistics operations and distributes revenue on-chain in stablecoins.

AudaCity is built on Plume Network and is designed to support compliance, transparency, and asset-backed yield.

Commercial truck in operation

What is AudaCity?

AudaCity tokenizes commercial trucks into pooled, fractional ownership structures.

Investors purchase pool tokens that represent a share of one or more trucks.
Logistics partners lease and operate these trucks in real-world logistics operations.

Revenue generated from operations is collected and distributed to token holders as on-chain yield, typically on a monthly basis.

Problem context

In many emerging markets, logistics is a critical economic sector but access to vehicle financing is limited.

In Nigeria, for example:

  • Most trucks are owned by individuals or small operators.
  • Traditional vehicle financing often carries interest rates between 25% and 36% APR.
  • At the same time, crypto users increasingly seek yield backed by real-world economic activity rather than purely on-chain mechanisms.

These constraints create inefficiencies for both logistics operators and capital providers.

Market context

AudaCity operates at the intersection of logistics, tokenization, and stablecoin-based finance.

Relevant indicators include:

  • Nigeria’s logistics sector contributes an estimated $7–11B annually, representing 2.4–3.7% of GDP.
  • Approximately 90% of trucks are owned by individuals or microfleets.
  • Over 22 million Nigerians hold crypto assets, with a large share of inflows denominated in stablecoins.
  • Globally, the real-world asset market is projected to reach approximately $10T by 2030.

Despite this scale, transportation assets remain underrepresented in on-chain RWA protocols.
